Department consent removed - CS 330, 360, 488

Please be aware that department consent will be removed today (Tuesday, August 28, 2018) for CS CS 330, 360, 488 for Fall 2018 as per the information on the course selection page. If the class is full then you will need to wait for students to drop the course before you could add the course for Fall 2018. Please note that the deadline to add courses is 11.59 p.m. on Wednesday, September 19 at 11:59PM (EST).

Waterloo Datathon on September 29, 2018

CS Student Research Conference

Queen’s University is excited to host CSearch , the inaugural Computing Student Research Conference on September 28th and 29th, 2018. We aim to bring students together to learn about opportunities within Computer Science, gaining insights from professionals within the field, and inspire them to continue innovating. Applications to transfer to Computer Science, BCS Data Science, and Artificial Intelligence are now open

F or students who are interested in transferring to BCS, BMath CS, BCS Data Science, or adding the Artificial Intelligence option to your BCS; you can apply at  https://oat.uwaterloo.ca/forms   by   August 15, 2018 at 11:59PM . Late applications will not be accepted. Basic eligibility: BCS/BMath CS Have credit for CS 136 or be taking CS 136 in Spring 2018 If you are not in the Faculty of Mathematics then you should have initiated an  internal transfer to Mathematics . Joint CS Have credit for CS 136 or be taking CS 136 in Spring 2018 BCS Data Science Have credit for STAT 231 or be taking in STAT 231 in Spring 2018. You must be a CS student to apply for BCS Data Science OR be applying for a transfer to CS in August 2018. Any student who transfers into CS and is not already in their required courses for Fall 2018 will be helped to get into the necessary courses.
