The 1st Annual CS-Can Student Symposium at McGill University

The student and postdoc advisory committee (SPAC) of Computer Science Canada ( CS-Can/Info-Can ) is organizing the 1st Annual CS-Can Student Symposium in conjunction with the  CS-Can/Info-Can  2019 Annual Meeting on June 2nd-4th at McGill University in Montreal . SPAC is inviting the entire Canadian computer science community (students, faculty and industry) to join them at the 2019 symposium. The symposium will feature a series of inspiring lectures by  CS-Can/Info-Can  award winners (see the first of the 2018 winners  here ), a poster session showcasing emerging researchers from every field in computer science and engineering, a set of workshops devoted to addressing challenges facing Canadian computer scientists and engineers ( e.g. , the under-representation of women and minorities) and a lightning pitch presentation session.  There will be three types of lightning pitches: the first two will introduce the upcoming poster and workshop presentations, and the third will provide

An NSERC Undergraduate Student Research Award (USRA) may be for you! The NSERC USRA is a great opportunity for undergraduates to work with a researcher and carry out full-time research for a term. The goal of the program is to stimulate your interest in research and to encourage you to pursue a graduate studies degree. If you would like to gain research work experience that complements your studies in an academic setting, this award provides you with financial support to do. You will be paid at least $7840 per term with a 35-40 hour work week spread over 16 weeks. You can also count this term as a coop work term. Undergraduate Computer Research (UnCore) program in Cybersecurity at Oakland University

Undergraduate Computer Research (UnCore) program in Cybersecurity at Oakland University is now accepting applications for the summer 2019. CREATE DAV Summer School 2019 - Call for Applications

Each year, CREATE DAV organizes a Summer School for senior undergraduate students. This year, the four-day fully-catered event will be from June 25th until June 28th, inclusive. The Summer School will consist of wide-ranging talks on the theory and applications of data analytics & visualization given by program faculty and industry experts.
