Barber School of Arts and Sciences at the University of British Columbia, Okanagan Campus, invites applications for a 1-year term appointment as lecturer without review in Computer Science. The position is renewable for up to 3 years and has a start date of August 1, 2014 or as soon as possible thereafter. Applicants must have a Master’s or Ph.D. in Computer Science or a closely related field, relevant post-secondary teaching experience, and evidence of ability and commitment to teaching excellence. The lecturer will teach courses in the undergraduate program, including first-year introduction to computer science for both arts and science majors.
