University of Toronto MSc in Applied Computing - Information Sessions & ARIA Showcase invitation

  The Master of Science in Applied Computing (MScAC) program from the Department of Computer Science at the University of Toronto will be hosting a series of information sessions about the MScAC program (flyer attached) across the next couple of months. These webinars are primarily targeted at third- and fourth-year STEM students considering graduate school, who are interested in seeing how their knowledge can be applied in a real-world context. UofT Medical Biophysics Open House

  Are you an undergraduate student considering a career in leading-edge biomedical research?  The Department of Medical Biophysics (MBP) at the University of Toronto will be holding a Virtual Open House on Saturday, November 6, 2021 from 10:00 am to noon, via Zoom Meeting. We would like to introduce three new courses that will be debuting next term. Please see below for more information on each course:   CS 398: Topics in Computer Science (Application Development) CS 497: Multidisciplinary Studies in Computer Science (Computing and Discrimination) CS 497: Multidisciplinary Studies in Computer Science (Team Capstone Project) CS398: Topics in Computer Science (Application Development) Description This course explores knowledge, skills and strategies required to build complex full-stack applications. Using an iterative development methodology, students will work in project teams to design, develop, and test applications and services. Standard development tools and approaches will be used to ensure code quality and performance at every step of the development cycle.
