Jennifer McWilliams, a PhD student in the Experimental Psychology program at the University of New Brunswick, is currently l ooking for recently graduated undergraduate students to participate in a study examining the impact of COVID-19. If you graduated in  2020 or 2021  from an  undergraduate degree program  at a university in  Canada , are 19 years of age or older, and had/have little financial support outside of government programs/benefits (e.g., the Canadian Emergency Student Benefit; CESB), then we would love to hear from you!  This online survey will take between 15-30 minutes to complete.   The BIOME Summit Student Challenge is a competition launched by Novartis, and the objective is to find solutions and innovative approaches to tackle cardiovascular diseases (CVD) in Canada. More specifically, the goal is to answer the following question: What is your recommended marketing plan to increase public awareness and urgency to act on cholesterol management and CVD? In order to participate, students simply have to create a team of 2/3 people and submit a short 5-10 slide presentation before October 15 (deadline previously September 26) - that’s it! The first 20 teams to submit a project will receive 50 CAD worth of Amazon credits per team member. This is a good opportunity to have a positive social impact and there are numerous prizes to be won, including jobs and full-time placement opportunities at Novartis.
