The Ontario Genomics Institute (OGI) Summer Research Fellowships in Genomics, Proteomics, Bioinformatics or related ethics and policy research are available to undergraduate students again in 2013. The deadline for applications is March 4, 2013. OGI Summer Research Fellowships offer undergraduate students studying at Ontario universities unique opportunities to engage in meaningful, real-life research in the areas of genomics, proteomics, bioinformatics or related ethical, economic, environmental, legal or social issues (“GE3LS”). Under the direction of a supervisor in academia or industry*, Fellows will conduct research in one of these areas in a laboratory or other appropriate academic or industrial setting. *OGI will provide assistance with finding a supervisor for anyone interested in applying for an industrial fellowship.
