Hackhaton Event - Platform for coding professionals & students to express ideas!

Halton Techstars Startup Weekend is hosting a entrepreneur networking event in Halton from June 14-16, 2019. Students living in GTA during the summer are welcome to participate in our event to meet up with professionals and industry leaders! Their team is looking for energetic university students who are interested in starting up a company or have an idea about smart cities development with a background in computer science, technology, business, engineering to join their Techstars Startup Weekend Event in Halton. Startup Weekend is a 54-hour event where developers, designers and business development folks come together to pitch an idea and launch a business, all in one weekend. Waterloo Mathematics Undergraduate Research Conference

Have you worked on an interesting research project? Are you interested in learning more about research? Do you want to connect with other undergraduates from institutions across southern Ontario and Quebec? Meet leaders in the mathematical, computer and statistical sciences at the Waterloo Mathematics Undergraduate Research Conference September 27-29. This two-day, free conference is hosted by the Faculty of Mathematics at the University of Waterloo. It’s your chance to:          Gain experience showcasing your research          Get feedback from your peers and faculty in your area of interest          Attend workshops, panels and talks by leading researchers          Hear about research and graduate studies from current students We’ll kick off the event with a dinner and panel hosted by the Faculty of Mathematics HeForShe initiative. The AI For Good Summer Lab applications are now open! Leverage your creativity, leadership, and technical skills to generate AI solutions to some of the world's most pressing problems. The AI For Good Summer Lab takes place over 7 weeks (May 8 to June 21 2019) and brings together a cohort of up to 30 women from across Canada.
