Spring 2020 co-op opportunities available

Spring 2020 co-op opportunities Enterprise Co-op program *Applications are due Monday May 4th, 2020* Emerge from this pandemic with a formative resume in solving impactful problems, and the entrepreneurship experience to back it up. Conrad Enterprise Co-op Stream 2 in partnership with the Problem Lab has launched a new program that lets you blaze your own path. We give you the skills and support to help you solve billion dollar problems affecting millions of people worldwide, pre-identified by the Problem Lab. However, only you decide how you solve them. This program is online and you WorkFromHome in Canada. It is an unpaid workterm however you will have the opportunity to compete at the Problem Pitch competition at the end of term for $15,000 prize award. Department Consent Removed - CS456

Please be aware that department consent has been removed for CS456 for Spring 2020 as per the information on the course selection page:  https://cs.uwaterloo.ca/current-undergraduate-students/majors/cs-course-enrollment . If the class is full, then you will need to wait for students to drop the course before you could add the course for Spring 2020. CS and BCS DS transfers NOW OPEN

The CS Undergraduate Advising Office has extended the deadline for CS transfers beginning Spring 2020. The online application is available at https://oat.uwaterloo.ca/forms and will be open from until Monday, April 27, 2020. We're accepting applications for: Transfer from Math to CS - at a minimum, must have taken CS 136 or be taking it in winter 2020. Transfer from CS to BCS (Data Science) - must have taken STAT 231 or be taking it in winter 2020. Adding a Joint CS to an out-of-faculty plan Transfer from outside of Math to CS (pending approval from Math Answers to common questions about the transfer process can be found at our transfer site:  https://uwaterloo.ca/computer-science/current-undergraduate-students/cstransfer .
