The School of Planning is looking for a student consultant for a short term project related to physical activity patterns in urban environments. The student will be responsible for designing a software program that (1) simulates and graphically displays recreational travel routes in urban environments, taking into account physical constraints of the urban setting and characteristics of real, observed recreational travel routes, (2) quantifies physical and spatial characteristics of recreational travel routes. The time period of the project is between September-December 2014 with an hourly salary between $18-$20 CAD dependent on experience.
