An NSERC Undergraduate Student Research Award (USRA) may be for you! The goal of the program is to  stimulate your interest in research and to encourage you to pursue a graduate studies degree. If you would like to gain research work experience that complements your studies in an academic setting, this award provides you with financial support to do. Study recruitment - Effects of a nutrition application in planning and selecting healthier food options

My name is Marcela Bomfim and I am a PhD student working under the supervision of Professor Dr James Wallace at the School of Public Health and Health Systems, in the Department of Applied Health Sciences. I am emailing you all today because I’m seeking volunteers who have an interest in nutrition and are willing to participate in a study which focuses on the understanding of the effects of a nutrition application in awareness, knowledge, and skills for planning and selecting healthier food options in groceries. This research will hopefully lead to a better understanding of how to better design mobile nutrition applications to be used during shopping and eventually be used to help students make healthier and more sustainable food choices during grocery shopping.
