2015-2016 NSERC and OGS Scholarship Competition

Undergraduate students planning to apply for graduate studies for Fall 2015 who meet the eligibility requirements and have a strong academic record should consider applying for the NSERC and OGS graduate scholarships.

Waterloo Scholarship Information Session:
Applicants should plan to attend ONE of the NSERC & OGS Information Sessions in the Humanities Theatre, Hagey Hall. Information will be given about eligibility requirements, ordering transcripts, reference letters, and about the research proposal which is key to these applications.

-Applicants should ensure that they are ELIGIBLE to apply for these scholarships before requesting the 2 required references and ordering transcripts
-KEY Requirement: a minimum overall average of 80% in each of the last 2 academic years

2015-2016 Ontario Graduate Scholarship (OGS):

* undergrauate students applying to a graduate program at Waterloo must submit their graduate application no later than February 1, 2015 to be considered for an OGS scholarship
* undergraduate students applying to graduate programs elsewhere are advised to check the university's OGS application requirements as these may differ
