University of Rochester open house for prospective graduate students

The Department of Biostatistics and Computational Biology at the University of Rochester is hosting an Open House for prospective graduate students on Saturday, September 26, 2015.  The global demand for professionals and academics with advanced training in the statistical sciences is extremely strong and continues to grow.  This event will provide students potentially interested in graduate study in biostatistics and statistics with an opportunity to learn about our programs, to meet with current students, faculty, and program alumni, and to gain some perspective on the many career opportunities this exciting field has to offer.

  5. The demand of these students is growing because we are going towards of new era where we would need the professionals only and for that they need to look here at the topics the top companies are demanding and the students need to specialize in those subjects.
