Paid opportunity with Camp Tournesol: Curriculum Lead and Head Instructor (Coding)

Camp Tournesol is looking for a coding enthusiast who likes to share their passion with others!

They are a leading virtual classes organization serving thousands of families, looking to expand their product line.

You will be:

  • participating in identifying the best classes to develop
  • developing the curriculum for the classes under the supervision of our director of curriculum
  • Testing the content on our beta group
  • Instructing the classes and helping in selecting and training other staff for this group of classes.
  • Involved in internal automation projects as needed.

You have:

  • A self starter attitude and are an independent worker.
  • 3rd year university student in a related field or higher education.
  • Strong technical skills and knowledge of powerpoint (slides) and zoom.
  • Work well within a team.
  • Have experience teaching or working at camps.
  • Excellent english verbal and written skills.
  • Knowledge of Minecraft, Roblox, Python and Scratch.
  • Expertise at chess is an asset.
  • Being Comfortable in French is an asset.

This is a part time position with plans to grow during the summer months. The candidate must be able to work in February and March for 10-15 hours per week. We are a fully remote team and open to all applicants who are eligible to work in Canada.
