Cybersecurity Competition for beginners

The Rogers Cybersecure Catalyst @ Ryerson University will be hosting a Capture The Flag (CTF) competition in June!  This is a great opportunity for women thinking about a career in cyber to get involved in a friendly online competition and try their hand at solving cybersecurity challenges.  

What is Capture the Flag?
CTF is a cybersecurity competition where contestants have to solve a variety of challenges 

ranging from beginner level to advanced level challenges. The goal is  to "capture the flag" 

in each challenge and move on to the next challenge!

Who should participate?

  • People who have never played a Capture the Flag event before
  • Experienced CTF participants looking for new challenges
  • People looking to pivot into a cybersecurity career
  • Residents of Canada only who are 18 years of age or older

The CTF will kick off Friday, June 24th at 6:00 PM EST.  Participants will have until 

Sunday, June 26 at 6:00 PM EST to solve as many challenges as possible.
