Point72 Data Scholars Program

Hosted by Point72 in partnership with Correlation One, Point72 Data Scholars Program is open to top undergraduate freshmen and sophomores in the New York metropolitan area. 

The P72 Data Scholars Program takes place virtually on April 26th from 1pm - 4pm EST. 50accepted students will have the opportunity to participate in an exclusive, one-day training program that will equip them with a deeper understanding of the hedge fund industry and emerging applications of data science in investing. 

The program features presentations from leaders at Point72 as well as hands-on training from experts in alternative data and quantitative investment analysis. Invited students will also have the opportunity to connect directly with Point72 data and investment professionals. 

Interested students can submit an application on our landing page here! Make sure to fill out the application form before all the spots are taken.

Grad students needed to mark reports for PD2

WatPD is currently seeking graduate students to mark reports for PD2: Critical Reflection and Report Writing from late-March to early-April. Students in this course must write a 16-20 page report which is worth 50% of their final grade. With over 1500 reports expected to be submitted, we need your help! Strong candidates for this position will have: ·          a desire to support students in an online learning environment ·          previous marking and/or teaching experience (preferably post-secondary) ·          strong written communication skills ·          an ability to correct quality of writing errors ·          a good understanding of English grammar and syntax To be eligible for this position, you must be available for training sessions in March that are held on campus at the University of Waterloo.
