Faculty position in CS at Illinois

Dear Colleague

I'm writing to let you know that the Computer Science department at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign has several open tenure-track positions. In particular, we are now running these searches:

(1) We have several open-rank positions in CS, seeking applications across all areas of the discipline, but with particular emphasis in the areas of (i) software engineering and programming languages; (ii) "big data"; and (iii) scientific computing.

(2) We also have one unique joint senior position, shared with CS and the Dept of Advertising, in the emerging area of Computational Advertising.

The attached documents describe each open slot in detail (open rank faculty positions, associate or full professor position). I'd appreciate it if you could bring these positions to the attention of the your graduate students, post-docs, and faculty. We especially welcome applicants with diverse backgrounds, experiences, and ideas who embrace and value diversity and inclusivity.

More info about these positions can be found on our website: http://cs.illinois.edu/csillinois/employment/CS-tenure-track-faculty-positions
Thanks for your help,
