Fall 2013 Liaison Officer Hiring

Hello everyone,

Once again it is time to start hiring for liaison officers for a four month contract for Fall 2013.

Liaison officers often offer prospective students their first impression of uWaterloo. This is an incredible opportunity to travel across Ontario to share your experiences along with the uWaterloo experience to our fall class of 2014.

We are looking for outgoing, charismatic student leaders who have loved their Waterloo experience. These individuals need to be mature, confident, positive, and have excellent speaking abilities. The ability to think on their feet, relate positively to a variety of different people, be a problem solver, and a team player are also important assets. Applicants also need to have a valid driver's license and be comfortable with independent travel to a variety of places in Ontario and across the country.

The position is a contract beginning August 1st, 2013 and ending November 29th 2013. The first six weeks will involve an intensive training period and then the remainder of the time will be spent travelling to high schools in Ontario and possibly out of province and working at the Ontario Universities' Fair and Fall Open House.

If you are interested please forward a cover letter and resume to my attention by Wednesday, March 13th, 2013.

Please pass this along to individuals that may be interested in this position.

I look forward to hearing from you.

Amelia
