Volunteers needed for "Human Performance and Cognitive Workload in Haptic, Audio and Visual Environments" study
I am a graduate student from Electrical and Computer Engineering Department at the University of Waterloo. I am contacting you because I am conducting a study in my graduate research for my Master’s thesis on the topic of “Human Performance and Cognitive Workload in Haptic, Audio and Visual Environments” under the supervision of Professor David Wang of the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Waterloo. I am currently seeking volunteers as participants in this study. If you volunteer for this study, you will be asked to wear a noise cancelling headset, use a computer monitor and use a haptic device. A haptic device is used for bilateral touch communication between the user and a computer simulation. You will be asked to complete 3 virtual reality settings. Each setting will last 5 minutes.
