The Computer Science department at the University of Toronto has created a new research group in computer science and
robotics, which will be based at its Mississauga campus. Currently, the group is composed of three professors: Jessica Burgner-Kahrs, Animesh Garg, and Florian Shkurti. In the next two years, they will be growing with the addition of two more faculty.
They are currently looking for graduate students at the MSc
and PhD level to join their labs by Sept 2019. If anyone interested in the
intersection of robotics, machine learning, and computer vision, who is also
considering UofT for grad school, they should feel free to contact the above faculty.
