RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop in-depth understanding of ETFs (Exchange-traded Funds) and other financial products
- such as options, structured products, and forwards
- Provide research support to retail and institutional clients, companies and sales and trading staff
- Assist in writing and editing research notes, reports and analyst presentations, and participate in
- meetings and presentations
- Maintain financial product database and in-house analytical models
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Advanced computer skills including Excel VBA, Java, Python, and SQL
- Database management, portfolio performance or risk management abilities is an asset
- Excellent numerical and analytical abilities
- Excellent English business writing skills
- Bilingualism (spoken/written) English and French an asset
EDUCATION:
- Achieved outstanding academic performance
- Course work or work experience in Engineering, Mathematics, or Computer Science
- Master degree or MBA are preferred
- CFA designation or enrolment in the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) program is an asset
