Compensation: 2,000 / month

Description:  
Konfidis is a fast growing technology startup based in Toronto.  We build novel solutions and systems which help real estate investors find ideal investment properties, communities and neighbourhoods. Our team is small and we're looking for a smart, motivated software developer to help us build the exciting features in our product pipeline.  If you're looking for practical experience building real-world web applications, we'd love to meet you.

In this role you'll be working with the Konfidis team to prototype, develop and test new product functionality for konfidis.com and our customer portals.  Day to day work will include: developing requirements, building system features and testing new enhancements.  

Our technology stack includes: Vue.js, PostgreSQL (w/ PostGIS), Amazon AWS, Node, and PHP.  There will be opportunity to work across the entire stack, with a focus on our client experience (Vue.js).  


Technology Skills:
  • Understanding and/or experience with front end web development:  HTML / CSS / JavaScript required    
  • Knowledge of front-end JavaScript frameworks a benefit - we use Vue.js, however knowledge of alternatives like React or Angular also beneficial
  • Understanding and/or experience with Object Oriented programming a plus

Other Skills:
  • Fluent in English
  • Adaptable to change. We're a startup and things move quickly!
  • Able to work well in small groups
  • Self starter who's interested in learning new things

Grad students needed to mark reports for PD2

WatPD is currently seeking graduate students to mark reports for PD2: Critical Reflection and Report Writing from late-March to early-April. Students in this course must write a 16-20 page report which is worth 50% of their final grade. With over 1500 reports expected to be submitted, we need your help!
