Philosophical
perspectives on the ethical issues raised by developments in artificial
intelligence and machine learning. Potential topics include fairness and bias
in the use of algorithms, accountability and responsibility for autonomous
systems, privacy and surveillance, and what it might mean for a machine to
engage in moral reasoning.
This course does not have any prerequisites and is an interesting addition to your BCS or BMath CS program.
