The Department of Psychology at Ryerson University is seeking undergraduate students who might be interested in participating in a survey examining the psychological impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on undergraduate university students. It is funded by the Canadian Institute of Health Research (CIHR) and has been reviewed and approved by the Ryerson University Research Ethics Board [2021-409]. The survey is administered using the online platform Qualtrics. Either a computer or a phone can be used to complete this survey. The survey is anonymous; there is no way to identify your responses in any way.
The project aims to recruit 2000 undergraduate students who are enrolled in a full-time
undergraduate university program in Ontario, Quebec, or British Columbia. The survey takes approximately
10 minutes. Your participation is completely voluntary, and your decision to or
to not participate will not impact your relationship with us, with any of your
community organizations or Ryerson University in any way. All the information
we collect from you will be kept confidential.
Participants will have the option to be entered into a draw using your email address that can be provided through a separate Google Form found at the end of the survey. The prizes in this draw are Amazon gift cards, with a total value of $1,500, including: 5 first prizes ($100); 8 second prizes ($50); 15 third prizes ($20); and 30 fourth prizes ($10). Gift certificates will be issued after the survey is completed and the lottery is drawn in February of 2022.
