Join the International Student Experience Team in the SSO

Are you an international undergraduate student at the University of Waterloo? We need your voice!

The International Student Experience Team in the Student Success Office is looking for twelve (12) students to join the Undergraduate International Student Advisory Committee (ISAC-UG).

Purpose

ISAC-UG aims to amplify the voices of international students on campus by serving as a platform to provide feedback and suggestions for improving life at Waterloo. Join this program to represent your peers and help shape their university experience! Share from your personal experience and perspective as a student in this paid opportunity.

How does ISAC work?

ISAC-UG is made up of 11 Members and one Chair. Members attend meetings to advise and consult on services and initiatives for international students. The ISAC Chair organizes and facilitates meetings.

We require a one-year commitment from all participants, which includes attending two-hour meetings two to three times per term.

Eligibility

ISAC-UG is open to international undergraduate students who hold a valid study permit. Consideration will be given to students who have spent most of their lives outside of Canada, recent newcomers (Permanent Residents) and members of other populations who may identify as having similar experiences to international students.
