The Master of Management in Operations Research (MM in OR) program at the Sauder School of Business, University of British Columbia is program designed for individuals with backgrounds in engineering, mathematics, economics, or other quantitative fields.  The 16-month program offers a unique blend of technical coursework, practical consulting skills, and real-world problem-solving experience that positions students for success in today's competitive business world.

MM in OR students work closely with internationally renowned faculty, business leaders, and outstanding peers to develop and realize their goals in a professional business environment. A highlight of the program is the Industry Project. Every student receives generous financial support by completing an intensive 5-month applied project with an industry partner that addresses a significant operational issue. Working closely with faculty and project leaders, students use the latest decision tools and technologies to make concrete recommendations to executives of some of the most prominent companies in Canada.

The MM in OR program is an ideal alternative to an MBA for technically-oriented students looking for a professional business degree that utilizes their quantitative skills. WatPD is currently seeking graduate students to mark reports for PD2: Critical Reflection and Report Writing from late-March to early-April. Students in this course must write a 16-20 page report which is worth 50% of their final grade. With over 1500 reports expected to be submitted, we need your help!
