Software GUI Developer/Web Programmer

Integrated Engineering Software provides state of the art software tools for electromagnetic, thermal and particle beam simulations. These tools are used in many of the world's largest labs and companies. Some examples of the diverse applications of the software include design of: electro-mechanical devices, high voltage equipment, antennas, mass spectrometers, ion implanters, induction heaters and electron microscopes.

Integrated is seeking a creative and self-motivated individual to join our Software Development team based at our head office in Winnipeg, Manitoba. The primary responsibility of this position is the design and development of GUI elements for engineering design software. Some work on the corporate web site will also be required. The candidate should be willing to keep up-to-date with advances in technology, and be aware of how this affects the business environment.

The ideal candidate for this position will have a graduate degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering, and hold the following in their skill set:
  • C/C++, STL and Microsoft Foundation Class Library
  • Windows API, COM
  • ASP.NET, HTML and Javascript
  • Ability to create, modify and optimize graphic images using Adobe Photoshop/Paint Shop Pro
  • Knowledge of SEO (Search Engine Optimization)
  • Sense of design, including the awareness of elements of design as well as the basic principles
