Columbia University has an interdisciplinary
PhD program in the DRO (Decision, Risk and Operations) at Columbia
Business School, where it combines math, engineering, economics, and data science, to
improve decision making and policy via mathematical models and
data-driven analytics.
Key differentiators of the program include a low
student-to-faculty ratio, full funding, all star faculty, flexibility to choose
an advisor, rigorous coursework, deep and impactful research, an attractive
location, and an unparalleled academic placement record. See the attached
flyer introducing our PhD program + summer internship.
The PhD program webpage including an informational video
is here (application deadline:
Jan 7, 2020). There will be multiple
opportunities to interact with faculty and students during the admissions
process.
