If you want a great career, you need to stand out from the crowd.
That’s where the Zero Experience, a student program offered by UW’s Problem Lab, comes into play. You’ll build a network of experts to support you, solve problems affecting millions of people, and learn how to make your visions a reality. There is no other guided experience in UW that offers these benefits – if you’re a student and want to tap into your innovation potential to become more employable, we’d be excited to welcome you.
The only time commitment is a 2hr workshop (Wednesdays 6-8pm ET) each week for 9 weeks. That’s it. We know school can be busy and stressful, and we’ve accounted for that within the Zero Experience. Workshops are fast paced and full of team projects, unique life insights, Q&As with industry leaders, and more.
The pandemic has made building a career, meeting new friends, and capitalizing on university far more difficult. We want to give you the tools to build something incredible out of yourself and your ideas, along with a chance to build deep, new connections with like-minded peers.
Learn more at https://uwaterloo.ca/problem-lab/zero-experience-0, where
you can also find the program application. No matter what faculty, year, or
background you come from, we want you to apply. The deadline is May
16th, with our first workshop on May 19th, so move fast - we’re really
looking forward to meeting you!
